About This Workshop

A working session where foundation staff redesign their reporting requirements to reduce grantee burden while still producing the information the foundation needs. Most reporting processes ask for more than they use, in formats that cost grantees significant time and energy. This workshop examines what the foundation actually reads, uses, and learns from, and redesigns reporting accordingly.

We Will Work On

• Auditing current reporting requirements: what you ask for, what you read, and what you act on
• Assessing the actual cost of reporting from the grantee's perspective
• Identifying what information the foundation genuinely needs and in what form
• Redesigning reporting templates, timelines, and formats to match actual use
• Building in grantee input on reporting design going forward
