Website Terms and Policies
This page explains how this website works, what we collect, and how we protect the people and organizations who visit us. We've written it plainly because we hold ourselves to the same standard we bring to every partnership: clear, honest, and grounded.
These terms apply to your use of humanrepair.org. They govern the website itself, not service agreements with HRW. If you're exploring a partnership with us, specific terms of service will be addressed in a separate contract.
Using This Website
This site exists to help mission-driven organizations explore our work, build a quote, and reach out. We ask that you use it for those purposes.
By visiting humanrepair.org, you're agreeing to use the site in good faith. That means not attempting to misuse, reverse-engineer, or interfere with any part of it. It means not using our content to misrepresent our work or your relationship to us. And it means being honest with us when you reach out.
We reserve the right to update this site, pause access, or change our offerings at any time. We'll communicate changes that matter.
The Quote Request Process
Our catalog is organized around a quote-based process, which is intentional. Repair and healing work is relational. We don't believe in off-the-shelf pricing because we don't believe in off-the-shelf partnerships.
When you submit a quote request through our site, here's what it means and what it doesn't:
- It means you're expressing interest in one or more of our offerings. We'll follow up to learn more about your organization and context.
- It does not constitute an agreement, commitment, or contract. A formal agreement comes later, built around what you actually need.
- Payment terms, cancellation, scheduling, and all service-specific details are addressed in the contract we build together. Nothing on this site creates a binding financial obligation.
If you're not ready to request a quote but want to learn more, you can reach us directly at hello@humanrepair.org or schedule a conversation through the Connect page.
What We Collect and Why
We only collect information that helps us do the work. Here's what that looks like on this site:
Quote Requests
When you submit a quote request, we collect your name, organization, contact information, and the details of what you're exploring. We use this to follow up and begin understanding your context. We don't sell it, share it without your knowledge, or use it for anything outside our work with you.
Contact Forms
When you reach out through our contact form, we receive your name, email, and message. We use this only to respond. Simple as that.
Email Signups
If you subscribe to hear from us, we collect your email address to send you content we think is worth your time: practical tools, new resources, and updates about our work. You can unsubscribe at any time. Every email we send includes a clear way to do that.
Website Analytics
We may use basic analytics tools to understand how people move through the site, which pages are useful, and where things could be clearer. This data is aggregated and not tied to individual identity.
What We Don't Do
We don't sell your information. We don't use it for advertising. We don't share it with third parties except the tools we use to run the site (email platforms, form processors), and those tools are selected with care.
Our Intellectual Property
Everything we've built at HRW, our frameworks, our curriculum, our language, and our methodology, reflects years of real work alongside real organizations. We share a lot of it freely because we believe the sector is stronger when knowledge circulates.
That said, what you find on this site belongs to The Human Repair Workshop. This includes:
- Our proprietary frameworks, including the Conditions for Impact™, the Road to Repair™, the Four Moves of Repair, and the Root-to-Fruit™ model
- Our course catalog, training materials, and workshop designs
- All site copy, blog content, and visual assets
You're welcome to reference our work, share our blog posts, and point colleagues to our resources. Please don't reproduce or repurpose our frameworks or materials without permission. If you're unsure what's appropriate, just ask us.
To request permission or discuss a collaboration, reach out at hello@humanrepair.org.
What We're Not Providing
HRW offers training, consulting, facilitation, and organizational development support. Our work is grounded in research-informed practice and lived experience.
Using this website, reading our blog, or submitting a quote request does not constitute a professional service relationship. Specifically:
- Nothing on this site is legal advice, clinical guidance, or mental health treatment.
- Our frameworks are organizational and relational in nature. They are not a substitute for licensed clinical, legal, or therapeutic services.
- We don't make guarantees about organizational outcomes. Repair takes time, trust, and organizational commitment. We bring the expertise and structure. You bring the will to do the work.
Updates to This Page
We'll update this page as our work and our website evolve. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you've accepted the updated terms.
If something changes in a way that significantly affects how we handle your information, we'll let you know directly.
Questions?
If anything on this page is unclear, we'd rather you ask than assume. That's true here and in every partnership we build.
